Zernike Phase Contrast with Darkfield Capability

The Zernike phase contrast disc condenser includes matched annuli for each phase objective, converting optical path differences in transparent specimens into visible amplitude contrast. The integrated darkfield stop adds a second contrast mode — darkfield illumination scatters light around the specimen, making cells, bacteria, and particles appear bright against a black background. Switching between phase contrast and darkfield is as simple as rotating the condenser disc, with no component swapping required.

The HD-Mini camera and 13-inch screen eliminate the need for a computer at the microscope workstation. Turn on the screen, and the live microscope image appears immediately.
