The Globe Scientific FanPad-GL Ultra (2551) is a super-absorbent pad treated with Formalex liquid control agent specifically formulated to neutralize the hazardous vapors of formaldehyde, 10% formalin, and glutaraldehyde — the three fixatives most commonly associated with occupational exposure events in histology and gross examination rooms. Unlike standard absorbent pads that absorb liquid but allow vapor to continue off-gassing, the Formalex treatment chemically neutralizes formaldehyde molecules on contact.
