The Caplugs® Evergreen EZ-Seal™ is an acrylic adhesive sealing film sized for individual 8-well strips — the strip-format companion to the full plate EZ-Seal™ film (290-8200-MIC). Strip format sealing is the preferred approach for partial-plate ELISA programs loading individual antibody-coated strips into SBS frames, PCR programs using 8-strip tube strips in individual strip format, and compound library programs storing DMSO compound strips separately from the SBS frame. The individual strip seal enables selective sealing — seal only the strips in use while leaving unused strips unsealed in cold storage, matching the partial-plate-ELISA reagent-savings workflow that strip format makes possible.
Inert polyester (PET) film construction provides full DMSO compatibility for compound strip plate sealing, optical clarity for qPCR top-read fluorescence detection through the seal, and PCR thermocycling temperature compatibility up to 100°C — the same performance properties as the full-plate 290-8200-MIC EZ-Seal™ film, delivered in strip-format dimensions at $0.3052 per strip seal.
